Lateral Massachusetts Certified Police Officer

 

The Millis Police Department is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a vacant police officer position. Applicants must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and be a resident of Massachusetts. A valid Class-A firearms permit is a requirement for the position. This lateral transfer is ONLY for applicants who are currently working in a full-time capacity and certified by the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee. We are seeking applicants with the highest integrity and possess superior written and oral communication skills. An Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in Criminal Justice is preferred, although not required. Reserve officers will not be considered at this time.

 

 

All candidates that are selected are subject to a physical and psychological examination as well as an extensive background investigation.
